Graham Akroyd has stepped into this exciting role as Managing Director for Data Structures (UK & IRL) which will see him lead the firm with his fellow Director (and company founder) John Kelly, to shape its next chapter.

A native of the Isle of Skye, Graham joined the company as General Manager in 2022 bringing with him nearly 30 years hands on and management experience specialising in work at height, remote sites and safety system technologies.

Graham hit the ground running, and after a short period of observation, he set about the task of reorganising our business management processes. He prioritised by consolidating the team, procuring new equipment and technologies, expanding our technical workshop and developing our internal QC management system. His task was completed by expanding our in house team, adding new strategic support partners and relocation of our UK office to Carlisle.

With these tasks completed ahead of schedule and the foundations in place for future expansion, Graham is our new man at the helm. 

Great things ahead…

Data Structures recently celebrated 25-years in business. As Experts in Elevated Engineering we are now aiming to build on our reputation which will see us increase in size, capture more market share while always looking after the interests of our clients. 

It’s an exciting time to be involved in the Telecoms & Renewables sectors and we look forward to playing our part in a more sustainable future.

28th July 2021 is our 23rd Anniversary and we have risen to the challenge…
We started our 23rd year following several weeks of COVID-19 lockdown. Our immediate priority was to consolidate our business following recent significant investment in our new premises and equipment.


Little did we know that remote working will soon increase demand for Telecommunications products and bring opportunities which resulted in several orders and new clients for SLX Telecoms Towers & SLX Monopoles.

Our Renewables division also received a boost with our official appointment as a Trusted Service Provider for ZX Lidars and also our official appointment as Global Network Partner (UK) for Ammonit Measurement GmbH.


We start our 24th year with several UK & IRL orders for SLX Met Masts in the 80m - 100m range and also for our Wind LiDAR systems and Telecoms Structures.

 

The challenging times continue of course which always remind us of the fantastic staff, partners and clients we have here at Data Structures.
